DCI is back on the silver screen 707 days after it’s last appearance

Drum Corps International has announced it’s return to theaters nationwide with “The DCI Celebration Countdown.” Historically, DCI has hosted the top 15 performances from World Championship quarterfinals, as well as an early season competition, as their two yearly theater events. However, due to the unconventional 2021 DCI season, they have instead opted to show 5 historic performances, including Carolina Crowns’ Inferno from 2015. In between these performances, however, DCI has promised “live spots with broadcast hosts from the 2021 spring training site of the Bluecoats, in addition to pre-recorded up-to-the-moment rehearsal camp updates from several other groups,”

The show will start at 8pm ET, with tickets on sale June 4th. While we will have to wait a little longer to see the 2021 return of marching arts, this event will surely be an exciting teaser for things to come.
