See which proposals made the cut.
On Saturday, DCI’s members voted and discussed proposed rule changes at the semi-annual event in Indianapolis.
Most notable of the proposals was the Any Instrument Policy, which would allow Woodwinds to take the field in DCI competition. According to DCI.org, this was one of the most talked-about proposals of the weekend, but it ultimately failed to pass the final vote.
As far as the proposals that passed, they included changes to the Color Guard judging rubric, and a proposal to allow live sampling for audio effects such as looping.
