19 ensembles took to the field in Williamsport, Pennsylvania for the Drum Corps Associates World Championships.

Reading Buccaneers continue their undefeated season in Open Class

The Reading Buccaneers (Reading, PA) were once again the class of the field, with 1.875 points separating them and the 2nd place Atlanta CV (Atlanta, GA). Cadets2 (Allentown, PA) rounded out the top 3. This was also the DCA Open Class Championships debut for Chops Inc. (Minneapolis, MN), placing 11th, and Cincinnati Tradition (Cincinnati, OH), placing 8th.

A Class battle heats up

The Govenaires (St. Peter, MN) lead Class A by just 0.063 points over Carolina Gold, (Raleigh, NC). This is Carolina Gold’s first year back in A Class, having the past 4 years in Open Class. Also notable were the DCA Championship debuts of the Columbus Saints, (Columbus, OH), Highland Regiment (Somerset County, NJ), and Cadence (Surrey County, England)
